Brilliant song by a brilliant artist. Funny how music means different things to people. I'm 42, have two beautiful children, a great career and am stuck in a depressing marriage. Lost my dad (and best friend). I grew up at the Jersey Shore and this song transports me back to a much simpler day.

Haven't listened to Bruce for years for some reason. Watched this and I've got tears running down my face before he even starts singing. I'm not a cryer. December 19th, 1978, Paramount Theater, Portland OR. I was there, just graduated from high school. Show started at 8:45PM. He took a break midway for about 30 minutes. My friend had a fever of 103 and he had the car so at 1:15AM we had to go. I almost stayed. It's only a 20 mile walk to Hillsboro in the freezing rain. haha.
