the blame is always put on the soldiers, wrongfully, its always the men miles away in offices deciding something is worth deing for, they never go to the wars themselves, they do much worse then killing someone, they have others kill people, and then the view thath come back are basicly left on their own to deal wiht their guilt, traumas and wounds, both mental and physical

I probably shouldn't even be here, but my dad is a proud Vietnam veteran, though of course he's not Aussie. But I'm sitting here, and considering writing a tribute to him and to all the veterans of all the wars who never who what the hell they were fighting for. I'm not sure that anything that I could ever write would be be good enough for them. They deserve so much better than I could ever give them, spoiled Gen Exer that I am. There is nothing I can write that would ever be good enough...
