It's not an impossible idea for them to start reviving previous franchises. SquareEnix is changing - for better or worse is anyone's guess. I'd personally LOVE to see a Chrono Revival. I mean, hell, they're doing a new Parasite Eve game and that was far from expected on my end.

Square Enix trademarked the name "Chrono Break" in 2003, I think, which caused rumor to spread like wildfire - but Square Enix dropped the trademark a couple of years ago, and they've confirmed they aren't making any sequels to Chrono Trigger.
