I love REM bit this truly sucks the changes are all wrong its to fast and generally lacks emotion stick to what you know..........

lol agree with the last post and with everyone else bout REM, my husband loves them but...hmmmm, Glen Cambell is the only one for me!

Classic Jimmy Webb song but I think part of the problem with this REM cover is that, despite Michael Stipe being about 7 feet tall, it is hard to imagine him getting on a chair to change a living room light bulb let alone at the top of a telegraph pole.

...a lot of their music works very well even when he goes flat - it's part of the REM sound - but this song makes him too naked for the flat sound to work... |
