When you approach a city to fight against it, you shall offer it terms of peace. If it agrees to make peace, then all the people who are found in it shall become your slaves and shall serve you. If it does not make peace with you, but makes war against you, then you shall besiege it. When the LORD your God gives it into your hand, you shall kill all the men in it with the sword. Only the women and the children & all that is in the city, you shall take as slaves/booty for yourself. Deut 20:10-14

yep ..that was exactly the reason. Today, the son of the guy that got the beatles banned says his father had nothing to do with it... and he went to the concert.
nelsoneas (December 31, 1969 at 11:59 pm)
anyway ..the concert is open to anyone that buys a ticket: Israeli muslims, christians, jews or rastafarians. Paul's message is of peace among all, at least for just one day! It's not about politics, it's about music... and justice after 43 years.

Hey Karen, you're young so I'll be polite. Firstly, It's a good idea to read some news before you comment. You are the only person I have ever heard who is blaming the Palestinians for 9\11, why? because it's not true.Paul McCartney, by doing a concert in Israel is legitimising Israel's disgraceful treatment of the Palestinians.

well aren't we a bit cranky today?yes, the occupation is wrong, and there were regretful casualties on both sides, having said that, Israel cannot show weakness by removing curfews, checkpoints, or more settlements before Palestine can prove to have its militants under control. |
