Accually it is Kaera, but an Japanese "R" sound just like "L", so sometimes "R" written "L" just to fit the English pronunciation. Sorry for being so arrogant. ;)

Mika parted with his ex-husband Kazuhiko Kato and married the producer of the album "Kurofune", that is, Chris Thomas. So, Mika doesn't belong to Sadistic Mika Band now.

What I heard was that the band name came from Mika forcing Kazuhiko to eat her cooking, but Wikipedia says it's because of the way she used kitchen knives. I've never read anything about her trying to kill anybody and always thought the name was in jest.
