Depends what your idea of fun is. Yes,it's less serious than the original, perhaps even a little demeaning to its spirit if you're a skeptical critic of covers. I didn't like it at first either but I soon found myself enjoying the light-heartedness of this version. So, one person's 'sad' is another person's 'fun' is my point here...

I think John Denvers was the best. It was done way before i was born but i grew up with the song from my parents. And yes i am one of those that likes Hardcore and the modern stuff but i do like the old classics aswell as they also soung the BEST!!! you do get some crap nowadays. |
