The Staples make it so soulful and haunting. In my record collection I have 9 different versions of The Weight, and this is by far the one I listen to the most....

that noise at 2:17 (which you cant really hear if its not 480) is that Levon or Pops? Levon's mouth moves but it sounds like it should be Pops. (I hope its Levon)

Why call names asshole? I thought this video had a different singer. He did not sound the same on this video. Like I said, his voice sounded like he was on helium. The studio version sounds NOTHING like this videos version.I like The Band..just not this version.
