I actually just heard the PUVFD 3t22B sound an alert cycle about 2 months ago and I think that as of 2/2/12 it could possibly be fixed. i didn't get a real good listen

That thing has a blocked lower intake...Makes it sound a lot like a 2001 with that unusually high pitch and slow wind-up.

Yeah! I think the attack cycle time can vary. Because some tomes the can only growl and sometimes they can run forever!
