Seven-time Grammy winner and ACM Female Vocalist of the Year nominee Carrie Underwood has just announced The Storyteller Tour- Stories in the Round will extend through the fall. The in-the-round arena tour launched to rave reviews in January and has already played sold out shows across the U.S. Concert review critics have applauded Underwood’s confidence and command over the massive stage that spans the entire length of the arena floor.

Underwood launched The Storyteller Tour: Stories in the Round, her fourth headlining tour, in January 2016, with a second half picking up in August. The tour has since sold over 800,000 tickets, stopping in 47 cities and 7 countries, while being named by Billboard the top country tour of the year.

Underwood received four nominations for the 50th annual Country Music Association Awards, including her first nomination for Entertainer of the Year.[239] Underwood walked away with Female Vocalist of the Year, her fourth time to win the award.

She was one of 30 artists to perform on “Forever Country”, a mash-up track of “Take Me Home, Country Roads”, “On the Road Again” and “I Will Always Love You” celebrating 50 years of the CMA Awards. The single debuted at number one on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs. Underwood received three nominations for the 2016 American Music Awards, airing on November 20, including Artist of the Year, Favorite Female Artist – Country, and Favorite Album – Country for Storyteller.
