November 3, 2007 - January 6, 2008: Miniature Christmas Tree
Exhibit Wichita-Sedgwick County Historical Museum, 204 S. Main.
Hand crafted by skilled local collector, Sylvia Jackson, this collection of
miniature Christmas trees commemorates special events and collections assembled
over the years by the artist. Tue-Fri 11 a.m-4 p.m., Sat-Sun 1-5 p.m. Fee.
November 17, 2007 - December 25, 2007: Lights on the Lake at
Heartspring Heartspring, 8700 East 29th St North. Benefit for
children with special needs. A drive through winter wonderland. Nov 17-Dec 9
Thu-Sun 6-10 p.m. and Dec 13-25 every day 6-10 p.m. Donations encouraged.
November 30, 2007 - December 27, 2007: Lights on St.
Paul Display begins at Douglas Ave. north on St. Paul Street.
Over 100 displays and 900,000 lights in a three block span. Photos with santa.
Display open Mon-Thu 6-9 p.m., Fri-Sat 6-10 p.m. and Christmas Eve 6
p.m.-Midnight Free, donations accepted.
Dec. 11, 2007: Wichita Symphony Free Family Holiday
Concert Century II Convention Hall, 225 W. Douglas. 7:30 p.m.,
doors open 6:30 p.m., no reserved seating. If youre dreaming of a White
Christmas, this concert is the perfect way to get in a happy, holiday mood. The
Orchestra performs all the seasons favorites and the Singing Quakers Alumni
Choir, directed by Cecil Riney, will help celebrate the season. Highlights
include our always popular audience sing-alongs. Free.

December 14 - 16, 2007: Wichita Ice Center Holiday Ice
Show Make this holiday season special by watching Wichitas best
figure skaters as well as the up and coming stars from the Wichita Ice Centers
Skating Academy and Learn to Skate program perform in dazzling costumes to
music of the holiday season. This production is a full-scale show complete with
curtains, set, lighting and special effects that are guaranteed to entertain
and captivate the imaginations of children and adults alike. The show times are
Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 1:00pm. The show is approved by
U.S. Figure Skating.
Dec. 16, 2007: The Nutcracker The Moscow
Ballet Presents The Nutcracker December 16 - 3:00pm & 8:00pm. The Orpheum,
200 N. Broadway. The World-renowned Moscow Ballet will celebrate its 15th
anniversary presenting its great Russian nutcracker in over 70 cities this 2007
holiday season. Reserved tickets $65, $45, $35 and $25 available through
