Thanksgiving - December 25 - Christmas: Lights on the Lake
Drive Thru Hundreds of thousands of lights in a drive-through
display with giant lit candy canes and 40-foot tree overlooking the lake. Hot
drinks, holiday treats and music available inside the Hospitality Center.
Over 70 displays and the 40 foot tree in the lake. 8700 E. 29th Street
North. There is no charge for the drive thru but donations are encouraged and
will help provide therapies and resources to the children of Heartspring and
their families. Please enter the drive thru from the 29th Street entrance.
Drive thru hours are 6 pm - 10 pm.
Thanksgiving - December 27, 2011: Lights on St.
Paul This holiday season, The Arc of Sedgwick County will once
again present the states largest neighborhood drive-thru Christmas light
display, The Lights on St. Paul. Kicking off on Thanksgiving night (November
24), this festive, family event runs every evening until December 27th. The
exhibition of lights starts at the corner of Douglas and St. Paul (just 4
blocks west of Meridian) and runs for one-half mile along St. Paul and through
the parking lots of The Arc and the Independent Living. Hundreds of
thousands of holiday light displays for a drive through experience. Sunday

December 13, 2011: Wichita Symphony Family Holiday
Concert If you're dreaming of a Musical Christmas, don't miss the
Wichita Symphony's annual Family
Holiday Concert, The Spirit of the Season! It's a perfect way to get in a
cheerful, holiday mood, and it's FREE! The Orchestra brings in all the season's
tidings with the Wichita Symphony Orchestra Chorus, directed by Dr. Cecil J.
Riney. And as always, the concert will include our popular audience sing-along

Children's Theatre & Dance Center presents this Charles Dickens classic at

Through December 18, 2011: "White
Christmas" The Crown Uptown Dinner Theatre presents this holiday
musical with live orchestra and professional cast. Thursday - Sunday matinees
on Dec. 1, 8, and 15. Bufffet dinner. Call 612-7696 for tickets and times.
Nov. 25 - Dec. 31, 2011: Illuminations 5:30 to
8:30 p.m. every evening Nov. 25 through Dec. 31, except Dec. 24 and 25.
Botanica's Illuminations, a Holiday Light Extravaganza, will be better than
ever this year. Featuring 700,000 lights in addition to the 5,000 luminaries
and lit themed area, Illuminations is sure to be the best light show in town.
Santa will be at Botanica every evening until Christmas, unless he has an
emergency at the North pole. Music groups will perform inside and out with hot
drinks and snacks available in the cozy Terrace Room. Tickets are available at
the door, at QT locations in Wichita.
