It’s Your Wedding Anniversary… Let’s Party!
A wedding anniversary is a very special event for every couple and it must be celebrated properly. Some couples prefer romantic evenings while others prefer big parties but the most important thing is to have a quality time.
In order to have a good time, you have to decide what type of anniversary you would like to have. This depends on many factors, like the age of the couple, their budget and preferences.

Planning a wedding anniversary should start with finding the current addresses of your guests and sending out the invitations. It is not difficult to print the invitations. You can have them printed at a specialized company, or you can make them at home with your own PC and printer if you have some design skills.
If you have decided to organize a party, then you should find a good DJ to help get everyone off their fannies and onto the dance floor. If you don’t consider this detail too important, the party may become boring after a few hours. The DJ should play both modern music and fun songs. After the guests get tired of all the dancing, you can invite them to play different funny games.
Many times planning a wedding anniversary is very similar to planning a real wedding. The couple tries to recreate the original wedding reception with similar activities. They wear the same clothes and sometimes have a cake cutting ceremony. The celebrated couple might give a speech about the period of time from the time they got married till the moment of the wedding anniversary. Also the guests will speak about the celebrated couple or will make jokes.
Some couples open a gift registry for the event. You should announce your preferred gifts in the invitations, if you decide to do this. The guests will have a better idea about the gifts you would like to receive and everyone will be happy for the convenience.
There are also other ideas some people have for planning a wedding anniversary. You might take a vacation to an exotic destination or you can go out for dinner in a fancy restaurant. A good idea is to revisit the place where you have met you partner for the first time. Visiting this place can bring strong sentimental feelings that you haven’t felt for many years.
